Notifications
The bell in the Tessolo top bar: which workspace events show up there, what stays in email only, and which teammates see each notification.
The bell in the top bar collects things that happened in your workspaces and might need you to do something. A number on the bell means unread. Clicking a notification takes you where it happened and marks it read.
The bell is per account, not per workspace — an invite to a different workspace, a site someone wants to hand you, or a workspace you were removed from all show up here. Items from another workspace carry a small pill with that workspace's name.
See all notifications at the bottom of the panel opens the full list, also in the sidebar under Notifications. It keeps 90 days.
What shows up here
People
- Someone invited you to a workspace (accept it right from the notification)
- Someone you invited accepted
- Your role in a workspace changed
- You were removed from a workspace
Sites
- Someone wants to transfer a site to you
- A transfer you started was accepted or declined
- A custom domain went live, or has been stuck for over a day
- Webhook or integration deliveries failed several times in a row
- A collection failed to sync from its sheet
Money
- A payment for the subscription failed
- The subscription was canceled
- A site used 80% or 100% of this month's form submissions
- A site took orders today — all of the day's orders share one line, which updates as more come in
What does not
Individual form submissions, new site members and items added to carts never appear here. They are data, not something to act on, and they already have three homes: the notification email on the site, the Form submissions page, and your webhooks. Putting them in the bell would bury the things that actually need you.
Product updates have their own button next to the bell.
Email still goes out
Nothing was taken away from email. The bell is a second place to see the same things — it helps when a message went to spam, to an address nobody checks, or to a colleague.
One difference worth knowing: email goes to the workspace owner, the bell goes to owners and admins. Admins are usually the people with the console open all day.
Who sees what
Notifications follow workspace membership at the moment they are sent. Editors and viewers do not get billing, domain or delivery-failure notifications — those go to owners and admins.
Marking as read is stored on your account, so it follows you between devices. Opening the panel does not mark everything read; only clicking an item, or Mark all as read.
Transfer a site
Hand a finished Tessolo site to a client's own account: how to send and accept a transfer, what moves with the site and what stays behind.
Plans and limits
What each Tessolo plan includes per workspace — sites, members, features and quotas — what happens when you reach a limit, and how to pick a plan.
