Tessolo documentation

Build a website, fill it with content, and publish it — without writing code.

Tessolo is a website builder for people who are not designers or developers. You drag ready-made sections onto a page, change the words and pictures, and press Publish. Hosting, HTTPS, image sizing and the sitemap are handled for you.

The five words the rest of these docs assume: workspace, site, page, block, collection.

Quick start

Template to published site in about ten minutes.

The editor

What each panel is for, and how to find the setting you're after.

Collections

Products, articles, case studies — content you add once and show anywhere.

If you are stuck on something specific

  • My change isn't showing on the live site. You almost certainly need to publish. Editing never changes the live site.
  • A list on my page is empty. Only published entries appear on the live site — see entries and publishing.
  • The layout breaks on phones. Check the phone breakpoint and override the sizes that need it: desktop, tablet and phone.
  • My domain won't verify. The DNS records and the status lifecycle are explained in connecting a custom domain.

How these docs are organised

Every page is one of four kinds. Concept pages explain how something works and why. Task pages are numbered steps with screenshots. Reference pages list every option. Troubleshooting pages start from the symptom you can see.
