Plans and limits

What each Tessolo plan includes per workspace — sites, members, features and quotas — what happens when you reach a limit, and how to pick a plan.

Plans are per workspace. Sites, members and quotas are shared by everyone in it.

Prices are in USD. Annual is billed once for twelve months and works out around 20% cheaper.

What happens at a limit

You're stopped before doing the work, not after. Creating a fourth site on Starter tells you at the dialog, not once you've named it and picked a template.

For monthly quotas — form submissions, AI tokens — you're emailed at 80% and blocked at 100% until the month resets or you upgrade. Blocked form submissions show the visitor an error rather than failing silently.

Limits that are already exceeded aren't taken away. Downgrade from Pro with five sites and those five keep working; you just can't create a sixth.

The badge

Free sites show a small "Made with Tessolo" badge. Any paid plan removes it.

Plan features are frozen into the published snapshot. After upgrading, publish once to take the badge off the live site. The publish panel reminds you.

Which plan

Free — learning, or one small site where the badge doesn't matter. Build as many pages as you like; what's capped is one site, and there are no custom domains, so it's the free address only.

Starter — one real site on your own domain, small team. The step that removes the badge and unlocks password protection, redirects, custom code and webhooks.

Pro — several sites, or one with real traffic. Adds the public read API and three languages.

Business — an agency, or a site with heavy form volume.

If you're unsure, start lower. Upgrading takes effect immediately and is prorated; you're not locked in.
